I was the project leader for the CollectableDiecast.com replatform and redesign. I was responsible for managing the transfer of all website data (e.g. product specs, images, meta data, customer profiles, order history, category information, URLs, content pages, site maps, tracking snippets and much more) from 3DCart to Magento. Along with the replatform I also managed the full site redesign including the implementation of responsive templates. Customer survey data along with data analysis from our databases and Google Analytics were used to make informed decisions about site functionality and content (e.g. filter options, sorting options, category structure, search functionality, etc). This project was done while adhering to SEO best practices to limit the loss of organic traffic.
